As of this writing, more than 100,000 eager followers are tracking Santa’s remarkable journey across the night sky. At 9:30 PM, our beloved elf was spotted taking a grand loop over the vast African continent.
Earlier in the day, around 5:30 PM, Santa made a charming stop in Norway, drawing the attention of 127,000 viewers. This delightful spectacle is made possible by the Flightradar24 service, which allows users to keep a close eye on “Santa,” designated by the call sign R3DN053—aptly referencing his iconic red nose. His journey begins and ends at the North Pole Santa Airport (XMS).
Beginning his adventure from the North Pole yesterday, Santa’s sleigh has traversed Norwegian airspace three times already. Notably, however, he has yet to visit Russia or make his way over the United States—though it’s worth noting that the latter is several hours behind Norway and typically reserves its present unwrapping for the morning of December 25th.
At 9:34 PM, you could find Santa sailing through the skies above Africa. The excitement continues to build as the world watches his magical trek unfold.
