This summer, music enthusiasts in Norway will have the chance to witness a momentous occasion as David Byrne, the iconic frontman of Talking Heads, returns to the stage for his first concert in the country since 2009.

Byrne is set to take the spotlight in Oslo on June 12 during the much-anticipated Piknik i Parken festival. This performance marks a rare appearance for the 73-year-old artist, as it is his sole stop in Norway for 2026.

The last time Byrne graced Norwegian audiences was at Sentrum Scene in 2009. Since then, he has continued to push the boundaries of music, seamlessly blending it with theater and visual art, earning him a reputation as a true innovator in the creative realm.
