Emil Lilleberg’s Tampa Bay Lightning decided against the Calgary Flames early in Thursday’s NHL clash, while the decision fell in overtime for Mats Zuccarello and the Minnesota Wild. The Minnesota Wild, with Mats Zuccarello on the team, were down by two, but still managed to pull off the win away to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Wild tied the score at 2-2 early in the third period, but the Blackhawks regained the lead shortly after. Matt Boldy scored 3-3 five minutes before full-time and ensured that the game went to extra time. There, Wild decided after a minute and a half in overtime play. Zuccarello got 19 minutes and 49 seconds on the ice. It wasn’t as exciting when Emil Lilleberg and the Tampa Bay Lightning took on the Calgary Flames in Amalie Arena in Florida. Already after 39 seconds, Brandon Hagel sent the home team into the lead. Ten minutes later it was 4-0 on the scoreboard. The final score was 5-1. The win was Tampa Bay’s fifth straight.
