Norges Bank Investment Management Sets Aside NOK 10 Million for Podcast Venture
Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) has announced plans to invest up to NOK 10 million in the podcast hosted by oil fund manager Nicolai Tangen over the coming years.
“This amount represents a ceiling for our investment,” confirmed Line Aaltvedt, head of communications at NBIM, in a statement to FinansWatch.
The funds will be allocated for various podcasting services, including the essential post-production of audio and visuals, as well as hiring a sound technician for high-quality digital recordings, as reported by the publication.
The project will be open to tender, ensuring a competitive process for those interested in contributing to this initiative.
Last spring, the podcast gained notable attention when billionaire Elon Musk appeared as a guest, though much of the interview was marred by technical difficulties.
