It never got really exciting when Luke Littler secured his place in the final of the World Darts Championship.
The 18-year-old won the semi-final against Ryan Searle 6–1.
Thus, “Luke the Nuke” will play his third straight WC final.
– This is sick, Littler said on the broadcast after becoming the fourth player to reach three straight finals.
Once again, the 18-year-old was booed after the match – albeit to a far lesser extent than in the quarter-final, where he sent a sour jab at the spectators.
– Some boos, some cheers, but tonight they were good.
In the final, the 18-year-old will meet either Gian van Veen or Gary Anderson.
Littler is the reigning world champion.
