According to Karoline Leavitt, spokesperson for former President Donald Trump, the noticeable bruise on his hand occurred when he leaned against a table during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
On his flight back to Washington, Trump took the opportunity to display the bruise to journalists, commenting that his regimen of high-dose aspirin tends to make one more prone to bruising. “They say take aspirin if you like your heart, but don’t take it if you don’t want a little bruising,” he quipped, adding with a chuckle, “I take the big dose of aspirin.”

“The doctor said, ‘You don’t need to take it; you’re very healthy,’” Trump recounted. “I said, ‘I’m not taking any chances.’”
Notably, Trump has drawn attention for similar bruising in the past. Medical experts confirm that a high intake of aspirin can indeed lead to increased susceptibility to bruising.
At 79 years old, Trump is currently the second-oldest individual to have held the presidency in the United States, following only his predecessor, Joe Biden, who was 82 upon leaving the White House.
