The Canadian snowboard star Mark McMorris will not start the qualification in Big Air on Thursday evening. He confirms this himself on Instagram. – I hit my head and unfortunately do not compete in Big Air. Fortunately, things are looking better for slopestyle, says McMorris. McMorris, who has twelve X Games gold and three Olympic bronze medals to his name, crashed during a training session on Wednesday. The Canadian team stated afterwards that McMorris had suffered a “heavy crash”. On Thursday he was discharged from hospital and was back in the Olympic village. The qualification in Big Air starts at 19.30 on Thursday, and Norway will field Øyvind Kirkhus, Marcus Kleveland and Mons Røiseland.
