The board of West Norway’s Brussels office has announced the appointment of Audun Lysbakken as its new director, as revealed in a recent press release.
Lysbakken, who led the Socialist Left Party from 2012 to 2023, brings a wealth of experience to this pivotal role.
“We’re thrilled that Lysbakken has accepted this position. His appointment marks a significant addition that will invigorate Western Norway’s Brussels office and bolster our region’s presence in Europe,” said chairman Christine B. Meyer.
VNB serves as one of six Norwegian regional offices in Brussels, playing a crucial role since 2003 in connecting stakeholders from Western Norway with their counterparts across Europe and the EU.
