Marius Broholm contributed with a penalty goal as Lille beat Paris FC 4-2 in the French top division in football. It was his first goal for the club. Broholm started Sunday’s game on the bench, but was replaced in the quarter before the end. In overtime, he helped the team to a penalty kick when his shot was blocked by the arm of Timothée Kolodziejczak. The Trønder then had to take the penalty himself and surely scored with a nice lob. Broholm got playing time in his seventh game for Lille after his transfer from Rosenborg in the summer. Olivier Giroud (two goals) and Aïssa Mandi scored the other goals for Lille. Osame Sahraoui started the match for Lille and was taken off when Broholm came on. Lille is fourth in Ligue 1 and has seven points up on PSG at the top of the table. (NTB)
