    Below is an overview of the boards governing Helse Midt-Norge from February 6, 2026, until the enterprise meeting scheduled for February or March 2028.

    Recently, Helse Midt-Norge appointed a new board, with Per Axel Koch taking the helm as chair. His role has sparked considerable debate, as he serves as the CEO of Polaris Media, which owns numerous media outlets in the region. Concerns have been raised about how his leadership might influence coverage across these various news organizations.

    Kirsti Husby, the editor-in-chief of Adresseavisen, has emphasized that the editorial teams within these media houses maintain complete autonomy over their reporting and prioritization decisions.

    Additionally, there has been criticism regarding the overlap of individuals serving in multiple boards and election committees, raising questions about their divided loyalties.
