Held at Chill Factor(e), the premier indoor ski and snow sports center in the North of England, the event ‘Get the North Iceland Feeling’ saw almost 50 attendees learn more about North Iceland, Iceland and importantly the opportunities available as a result of the new twice-weekly easyJet Manchester to Akureyri flights this winter.

Visit North Iceland together with colleagues from Visit Iceland hosted an event for key travel trade and media in Manchester on Thursday 5th September.

Agents, operators and assembled media/influencers also enjoyed some fun time on the snow, truly getting the feeling of winter tourism in North Iceland together with food and drinks.

A number of local tour operators in North Iceland were kind enough to provide prizes and Visit North Iceland also gave away two places on forthcoming FAM trips on the Manchester inaugural flight. Two lucky attendees of the event, who won the places on the trips will be able to experience the magic of North Iceland themselves this winter.
