Julian Ryerson assisted on the lead with one of his dangerous corner kicks as Borussia Dortmund beat Werder Bremen 3-0 in the Bundesliga on Tuesday. Just over ten minutes had been played when the Norwegian hit a precise corner kick from the left. Nico Schlotterbeck ran free from two opponents and headed in from close range. Otherwise, chances were far between, and the home team had to endure scattered whistles on the way into the half-time break. A little over halfway through the second half, Ryerson was involved in a fine attack that ended with Marcel Sabitzer firing just over the bar, but immediately afterwards he was replaced by Daniel Svensson as one of three simultaneous substitutions.
