After a 2-0 win against Haugesund, Molde no longer has to worry about being able to end up in a qualifying place.

With three points against already relegation-ready Haugesund, Molde now stands with 36 points and has moved up to ninth place.

As a result, Bryne, who holds the qualification place, cannot catch up with the team from the city of roses.

Minutes into the second half, Molde wrangled the ball into the net. Oskar Spiten-Nysæter sent the ball via Martin Bjørnbak and into the goal.

    – It is a score that lowers Molde’s shoulders considerably, said TV 2 commentator Haakon Frydenberg Thon.

Two minutes into overtime, Caleb Zady chipped Sery in to make it 2-0.

Before that, the guests had struggled a lot to get the game to vote on the Eliteserien’s easiest away ground.

For Haugesund, relegation has already been clear for a long time. The club has a poor nine points before the last two games. (NRK/NTB)
