Since its inception in 2019, the annual survey has revealed a remarkable increase in the use of digital health services, although usage has plateaued in 2025 compared to the previous year.
Health and Care Minister Jan Christian Vestre (Ap) expressed his confidence in Norway’s digital health landscape, stating, “We will have the world’s most digitized healthcare services. With six out of ten Norwegians having accessed digital health services in the past year, we have a solid foundation. Our aim is to reach even more individuals and ensure that these services are both simple and beneficial.”
Further insights from the survey reveal that 13 percent of participants have been encouraged by healthcare providers to utilize apps and other digital self-help tools as part of their treatment plans. Additionally, seven out of ten respondents agree that having digital access to another physician is advantageous, particularly when their own general practitioner is unavailable.
This survey was conducted among 1,590 individuals aged 16 and older, underscoring the growing integration of technology in healthcare.
