Nottingham Forest finally secured three points when they beat West Ham 2-1 on Tuesday.

This ended Forest’s losing streak, which before tonight’s battle was four straight games.

However, it did not start well for Forest in London. Before the quarter had been played, Murillo headed the ball into his own net.

In the second half, West Ham looked to have doubled their lead, but a marginal offside saw the goal disallowed.

Shortly after, it was Forest who could cheer when Niclas Dominguez scored the equaliser.

Just before full-time, the away team received a penalty after a VAR check. Morgan Gibbs-White had no problem knocking it into the goal. West Ham stopper Tomas Soucek did not agree with the penalty decision.

    – It was a joke. If that’s the case, we should get 20 penalties in each game. I came to the Premier League because I thought it was the toughest league, but now it’s like basketball, he told Sky Sports.

The London team are now without a win in the last ten Premier League games.

Nottingham Forest are in a safe place, one place above West Ham in the table, after 21 games played.

Seven points separates Forest in 17th place to West Ham in 18th place.
