Jürgen Klopp will not rule out that he will take another term as Liverpool manager in the future. At the same time, he reveals that he turned down Manchester United.
It is in a recent episode of the podcast “Diary of a CEO” that the German speaks candidly about a number of topics.
In the conversation, Klopp, who is now head of football at Red Bull, is asked whether he could consider returning to Anfield as manager.
– I have said that I will never coach another team in England, so that means that if I return, it will be to Liverpool, Klopp replies.
– So yes, theoretically it is possible, he adds.

Klopp also says that he is not sure which pieces must fall into place for him to take a new term at Anfield. Right now, he doesn’t miss being a manager.
In the conversation, he says that Manchester United must have contacted him in 2013.
– They tried. It was the wrong time, the wrong moment. I had a contract in Dortmund and would not have left, not really for any other club at the time, says Klopp.
Regarding the reason why he did not want to join United, the German says that things came up in the conversation with the club that he did not like. (NTB)
