On the evening of 16 October 2023, shortly after returning home from Kjell Inge Røkke’s hunting lodge in Sweden, Solstad CEO Lars Peder Solstad calls Pareto CEO Christian Jomaas. According to Solstad, Røkke is adamant about the demand to be granted subscription rights in the “repair issue”, which should initially be reserved for all Solstad shareholders other than Røkkes Aker. Jomaas believes this demand is unreasonable.
