Sverre Nypan is still waiting for an answer about a new club
– Nothing is official yet, but as most people know, there is talk of Manchester City and something is approaching there, but more than that there is nothing to say other than that it is heading towards an exciting time, says Sverre Nypan.

Football school
Nypan joined Rosenborg in the fall of 2022 and made his debut in the elite series in November of that year. With that, he became the team’s youngest player ever in the elite series. He made 53 appearances and 13 goals for RBK.
He has not played a match for RBK since May of this year. And while waiting for a clarification with Man City, he is filling the waiting time with a football school in Trondheim.
– It was here at Nissekollen that I started playing football as a 6-year-old and I have many fond memories from here, says Sverre Nypan. He thinks it’s great that Nardo football is using his name for this year’s football school.
– It’s an honor to be here, says Nypan. He is quickly surrounded by young fans who want a selfie.
His advice to the young participants who want a football career is to have fun with football.
Sverre Nypan has given his name to Nardo IL’s football school and was a popular guest on the football mat today.
Proud of City
It’s been about three weeks since the 18-year-old had a medical at Manchester City and boasts about the way he was received:
– There are a lot of nice people who work there.
– We were very well received, both me and my dad and the agent, and we were very happy after the meeting with the club. It also seemed like they were very happy and that things looked good.
Nypan has little say about the transfer to Manchester City and possible loan to other clubs.
– First of all, I’m looking forward to getting this done, then we’ll take care of the rest later, says Nypan.
Nypan also boasts about the dialogue with Rosenborg.
– The dialogue has been very good and honest. I have always had good chemistry with Rosenborg ever since I joined the club. We hide nothing from each other, says Nypan.
Sverre Nypan thinks it is an honor to participate in Nardo IL’s football school.
