Both Henrik Kristoffersen and Timon Haugan entered the final round with hopes of victory, but it was a Swiss grand slam in the giant slalom in Val d’Isère.. Henrik Kristoffersen and Timon Haugan were in 2nd and 3rd place respectively behind Austrian Stefan Brennsteiner after the 1st round, but there was neither a podium nor a victory for the Norwegians on Saturday. The victory went to Loïc Meillard, who drove up from 5th place in the 1st lap and won ahead of compatriots Luca Ärni and World Cup leader Marco Odermatt. (NTB)
